Loose as Issued. Condición: Very Good. 2+ page letter with full signature to Ms Eliza Meteyard (author & expert on the Wedgwood potters). He offers to help her in her researches and mentions her pseudonym as he says here his daughter cannot put (this authors) the story down "The Doctors Little Daughter" by "Silverpen" & also his pleasure at receiving a copy of her work "Hallowed Spots of Ancient London". He states his memory of the interview at the "Tower" was most pleasurable and pleasant and she was "fresh in his memory", etc, etc. *The recipient wrote under the name of "Silverpen", she wrote fiction until about 1862 and then the title above was here first non-fiction work followed by the 2 volume work on Josiah Wedgwood and his family of potters. T. D. Hardy wrote several works on Mss and court Rolls and translated works out of Latin. Argued in favour of the Athanasian Creed once in the Cotton Collection, the basis or foundation of the British Library.
