Condición: Fair. 1923. No Edition Remarks. 324 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth boards with lettering. Contains black and white and colour illustrations. Clean pages and illustrations with noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is bright and clear. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.

A UK first edition, first impression. THE WRAPPER : The period wrapper on this copy is sound and complete. It is unclipped. It shows light wear to the edges and small chips to the corners. There is a touch of wear at the head of the spine. Looks very sharp in protective plastic. THE BOOK : The book is square and tight. The boards are very clean and are unfaded. The corners are sharp. The spine ends are lightly bruised. The pages are clean - there is ghosting to the endpapers. The closed page edges are lightly soiled. There are no loose or dog-eared pages. The binding is solid and without cracked hinges. No inscriptions. A very nice copy in a protected wrapper. Paypal accepted.

Publisher's illustrated orange cloth covers, unclipped dust-wrapper. 324 pp.; coloured frontispiece and numerous drawings by Williams. A Very Good, unmarked copy showing some spotting and light marks to page-edges, ghosting to endpapers and some light rubbing to the edges of the book. In a decent wrapper showing some chipping to extremities, edge-wear and some general overall discolouration. The wrapper has fared well, however, and is housed in a protective covering. Contents are clean and firmly-bound. A decent copy - very uncommon in dust-wrapper.
