Corners are bumped with modest fraying at two corners, light wear at top and bottom of spine, period gift inscription from 1880, moderate foxing to first 20 pages and last ten pages (rest of pages are quite clean). otherwise book is very nice, clean and presentable, with a solid binding and bright gilt. Covers rubbed, mainly at the edges, corners heavily rubbed, surface chips to spine which obscure some of the lettering, front hinge internally cracked but secure, text block sound with no loosened pages, pages generally clean with some occasional light finger soil to the margins, no names or other markings. Hard Cover. Good. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
