Libro
Hardcover. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Very Good. 4th Edition. Printed in the U.S.A. 165 pages, followed by the three-page index. The original gray cloth is in excellent shape with a small bump to the tail of the spine. The interior has a mere hint of toning to the front endpaper and is otherwise pristine; top edge is maroon, matching the portion of the spine with the gilt lettering which remains bright and clear. [Please see multiple images of the actual book.] The sturdy dust jacket is sunned on the spine and edges, with a bit of rubbing; it is unclipped, with its price ($3.50) still intact on the front flap. The copyright page states: "In this fourth edition, Appendix II dealing with the Generalization of Gravitation Theory has been completely revised." And the rear dust jacket flap explains: "The last step of the theory concerns the unification of the field concept, which is characterized by the transition to non-symmetric fields. The difficulty in the choice of the field laws has been fully overcome only in the last few months. The arguments essential for this are presented in detail in Appendix II." As with every book from my father's collection, tipped in at the front is the small, attractive, acid-free bookplate pictured on my homepage. All books are wrapped with special care and are shipped promptly---domestic sales sent with 'delivery confirmation' tracking; international sales sent via global priority, also with tracking.
