Dust jacket well toned and soiled; long jagged closed tear descending from front panel's upper left across center; other lesser edge-wear; front flap retains publisher's printed price ("T.O.-L. | $2.00") at top right corner. Beige printed boards lightly toned; slight scuffing/bumping at spine ends and board corner tips. Endpapers foxed; slight foxing/toning at margins of interior leaves. Binding is firm. A very good copy in only a fair dust jacket. Laid-in at front endpapers is a November 24, 1958 typed letter from Ben Regan on Nationwide Food Service, Inc. of Chicago, IL stationery to a Bellbrook, Ohio resident noting the book is by "the son of our friend Ed Gorey" - Chicago was illustrator Gorey [Jr.]'s hometown.
