Sheet Music. Illustrated by Sorokin ? Ilustrador. This sheet nusic for the Song, "Cabin in the Sky" from the movie of the same name is in VG to VG+ condition with light wear and aging. I think this is a first printing. The all African-American cast featured stars such as Ethel Waters, Lena Horne, Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and the Hall Johnson Choir. It had been produced originally as a Broadway play in 1940. The music is arranged for piano and guitar. The front cover features a nice graphic of a cabin floating in the clouds. SMAA; Cover Art (Blue Cabin in Sky); 4to 11" - 13" tall; 6 pages.

For voice and piano (with chord names). Plate number 3706 - 4. This song originally appeared in the 1946 musical *Sweet Bye and Bye*, also with songs by Duke and Nash. Mervyn Rothstein, writing for *Playbill*, describes the musical as a "sci-fi flop" but maintains that the score is "worthy but forgotten." *Two's Company* was a musical revue show consisting of sketches on the theme of show-business and originally starring Bette Davis who ran into health troubles shortly after the show premiered in 1952. *OCLC* locates four holdings of this *Two's Company* version of "Just Like a Man.".
