Photographer Cor Jaring was a chroniqueur of the street scenes ponnected with the Provo movement, the hippies, Vietnam-demonstrations and the squatters-movement in Amsterdam. Fotograaf Cor Jaring is bij uitstek de chroniqueur van het Amsterdam van de jaren zestig. Hij fotografeerde de belangrijkste activiteiten van Provo, zoals de acties van anti-rookmagier Jasper Grootveld en de anti-Vietnam demonstraties. Ook stond Jaring aan het bed van John Lennon en Yoko Ono tijdens hun Sleep Inn actie in het Hilton Hotel.
