Sporadic foxing. A couple of minor marks to covers. Bright, tight and clean. Minor wear only. VERY GOOD. (xiii), 370 pages. Frontispiece (with tissue-guard) and seven other plates. Only five copies listed in the major UK libraries. No copy in the British Library or the Bodleian. Thomas Champness was a Methodist. He founded the movement which eventually brought into being 'Cliff College', the famous Evangelists' training centre.
