Many additional black-and-white plates of photographs, portraits, maps, illustrations, facsimiles, etc. Exceptionally well-preserved showing no detectable flaws to the cloth extremities, contents equally without blemish with bright, clean, and unmarked leaves and firm, sound binding; as new and housed in near fine original, unclipped, light-blue dustjacket. Accompanied with two small cards from the family requesting acknowledgement of receipt of the book, and a private card belonging to Mr. John Jacob Hoff presenting this title to the original recepient. Penned by the noted Detroit-based philanthropist's private secretary.
