Pages clean and bright, tightly bound, a lovely copy. The dustjacket has heavy damage to the top front edge and some water staining to the front which has caused some very minor discolouration to the book itself. Creasing to the back of the jacket and a minor loss to the top of the spine, now protected by an archival cover. "It is by far the most important collection of sea songs which has been made."
