This 1980 edition has several photos not included in the 1935 edition, plus it has a 30 page epilogue by Terris Moore that is not found in the 1935 edition. In this epilogue Moore provides biographical details about the team members, and he refutes the Chinese claim that the 1932 expedition faked the climb to the summit. PAPERBACK (no hardcover issued for this edition). This book measures 216mm tall x 139mm, and has 66 b/w photos, 5 maps, with new 30 page epilogue by Moore, biblio, index. CONDITION: slight fading spine, minor rubbing to covers, old private owner crimp on bottom corner of short title page, Minya Konka highlighted in yellow on first map (see photo) otherwise no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding, no foxing.
