Buchan wrote the editorials and articles for this magazine and this collection of his pieces was put together by his deputy many years later. It demonstrates the breadth of his writing and his ability to write in a considered and thought-provoking way on a wide range of subjects. Biography, history, literature, religion and politics are all dealt with. 422pp Terracotta cloth, gold lettering. The top edge is dark red. But for a slight crease in the cloth at one corner the book is in excellent condition throughout.
