This edition of Sir Thomas Browne's Letters was originally issued in 1931 as volumes six of The Works of Thomas Browne edited in six volumes by Geoffrey Keynes. Browne was an English polymath and author of varied works which reveal his wide learning in diverse fields including science and medicine, religion and the esoteric.

Hand-set in Cloister Lightface type on Strathmore special paper. Half linen, printed label, marbled paper sides. Book is in EXCELLENT condition in a FAIR slipcase. The slipcase lacking spine (appears to have been issued that way). Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Hardcover.
