Some pages slightly creased. Contemporary signature of Wasserman on front end page. Earl Reeves Wasserman was an author, educator, and professor of English, at the Johns Hopkins University. Wasserman taught at the University of Illinois but returned to The Johns Hopkins University in 1948. He held the Caroline Donovan Chair in the English Department and in 1954, was a member of the editorial board of the Johns Hopkins Press.
