The book and its contents are in generally clean, bright condition. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. The front cover of the dust jacket has two medium sized white spots of discoloration with a couple of smaller spots to the top rear cover. The text pages are clean and bright. The endpapers have some light generalized toning. There is a previous owner's name on the front pastedown page (Lieut. S. Wellford Duke of Richmond VA).
