Hardcover. Condición: Good. 192pp, with colour plate frontispiece, further monochrome plate illustrations and drawings etc in text. In pictorial boards over linen spine. Small 4to. Boards are rubbed and chipped at edges, quite heavily shelf worn, spine cloth rounded and lightly fraying at ends, sunned spine. Upper text block edge darkened, other edges lightly spotted. Hint of toning on endpapers, a little compressed around hinges, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring occasional small sign of fingering. An early BBC volume for girls and boys, containing a series of illustrated stories including contributions from John Watt, Muriel Newell, Peter Martin, F M Dimmock, Olwen Bowen, E M L Elliot, Mabel Marlowe, P W Darnell and others.

B&W Photos of the Aunts & Uncles after contents Pages. 191 Pages. Grey cloth spine with Black lettering and a picture of a boy wearing earphones. Pictorial Boards with picture of a boy & girl watching enchanted horses through a doorway. Gift inscription on endpaper dated 1928. Pages and Plates in very nice, clean condition. Binding a little fragile. Bottom corners are very worn with some of the edge of the board worn away (see photo). Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

An early example of an uncommon annual. Rear hinge starting to pull otherwise a nice tight copy.
