No Binding. Condición: Collectible-Fine. Series (3) of original cabinet card photos (4 1/4 x 6 1/2 inch) of the Henry C. Ayers family. 1] Henry Clinton Ayers (1840-1899). 2] Mary Ayers (1849-1927). 3] Eleanore or Elizabeth Ayers, their daughter. Henry C. Ayers was born in New Hampshire and was a graduate of Dartmouth College and later helped form both Pittsburgh Life Underwriters Association and the National Association of Life Underwriters. Mary, his wife was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. Life span of the daughter is unknown.

No Binding. Condición: Collectible-Fine. Joseph H. Ayers, Ruth Ayers, and family. Three original photos (all studio poses): Henry and Ruth Ayers with daughter and son, circa 1910 (4 x 6 inch); Henry Ayers holding his daughter Adelaide Elizabeth, Dec. 20, 1900 (4 1/4 x 6 1/4), photo by Mrs. B.B. Chase, Denver; Ruth Ayers as a young woman, circa 1895, cabinet card, by Scott of Chicago. Joseph Henry Ayers (1870-1945) was born in Pittsburgh, Pa but moved to Colorado as a small boy. He attended both the University of Denver and Colorado College. He had a long career in the accounting business. He was also a member of the Colorado Poetry Society and a winner the Colorado State Poetry Contest. His wife, Ruth M. Vallette (1870-1933) was born in Illinois. She attended rockford Seminary and Colorado College. The couple were married in 1895. Also included is a genealogy for their children's children written on a piece of paper (8 x 5 inch). All photos are in fine condition.
