Edges of boards slightly rubbed. Tail of spine lightly creased. Spine tight. Internally also near fine, with no inscriptions. No foxing. Pages clean. ***In a very good line-illustrated printed dustwrapper, with the original publisher's printed price of 2/6 net on the spine. The fragile dustwrapper is complete, with the edges just slightly rubbed and creased. Short closed tear and associated crease to the bottom edge of the back panel. Tiny closed tears to the top and bottom edges of the back panel. Dustwrapper very slightly rubbed and marked, but no fading even to the spine. Dustwrapper bright. ***64 pages. 166mm x 128mm. ***First impression of the true first edition - a fragile wartime production printed on thin economy-standard paper, now very hard to find in the original dustwrapper in such well-preserved, collectable condition.
