Covers double ruled and decoratively stamped in gilt with grape corner motifs and a fox central device. Spine stamped and lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, others uncut. Marbled endpapers. Very minimal offsetting from the plates. Small bookseller's ticket on front pastedown. A near fine copy. In the original marbled board slipcase with printed paper label on spine, with matching limitation number. Slipcase slightly worn and toned. "The Seventh Corrected Edition of the original text, printed in 1724, has been faithfully followed" (Colophon). HBS 68878. $1,000.
