Condición: very good. 1st Edition. 162pp. Octavo. Green coated cloth covered boards with black lettering on spine. Black and yellowish writting and fish decoration on front cover. Slight soiling to boards; wear and bumping to ends of spine and corners. Previous owners name/inscription on front free endpaper. Text block is fairly clean with only a few stains. Long and bottom outer edge of text block roughly trimmed. With 16 B/W plates. A nice copy. very good Sir Wilfred Thomason Grenfell (28 February 1865 ?9 October 1940) was a medical missionary to Newfoundland and Labrador. Beginning with Vikings of To-day (1895), he published between 1905 and 1938 a succession of books about Labrador, which was at the time a British colony.
