Signed by Chas W Stoddert (probably author/editor Chales Warren Stoddart), Yonkers, NY. VG+. Light bumping to corners with no associated creases, loss or damage. Cloth and gilt all sharp and bright. Binding tight and square with very mild play along strong upper front hinge. Toning to endpapers with pages bright and unmarked. Not ex-lib.

Soft Cover. Condición: Very Good. First Thus. Comedy thought to be originally performed sometime before 1553 it was edited by Arber from a copy held in Eton College and pub as part of the English Reprint series. Brown card backed paper cover with gilt title and black decorative border, cover is rubbed so that title is partially obscured, edges chipped, spine rubbed with head and foot chipped, two tone title page, pp 88, interior has odd spot but is clean and tight. Size: 16mo - over 5¾" - 6¾" tall.

Beveled-edge blind-stamped green cloth covers clean, bright and unworn bar v.faint hint of rubbing sp.ends. Scarce in such good condition. At this time the series was being issued monthly by individual titles, in 'occasional Volumes' of 2 or 3 titles (as this is) and in quarto. Arber was 'Associate' of King's College, London'. Apparently privately issued by Arber, some sellers give Murray as publisher of titles in the series but no evidence of this here.
