Libro
Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. First edition thus. A Readers Club omnibus of six of Roughead's "criminous conundrums" in which he looks at murder cases from history. The studies included were first published from 1929 to 1939 and here benefit from a foreword by Alexander Woollcott. This is not surprising since Woollcott was a prominent member of the Board of Judges of Goerge Macy's Readers Club, and this was one of their first publications. There's a name on the front endpaper, the spine panel is a little darkened, and edges are slightly browned, but a very good copy.
