Trade Paperback. Condición: Near Fine. Estado de la sobrecubierta: No Dust Jacket. Elmer Kelton Ilustrador. Paperback Edition. Elmer Kelton is credited with the cartoons which accompany the story by Paul Patterson, Kelton's teacher and friend. Kelton's foreward explains why he pursued writing rather than art: economics! This is the 1994 paperback reprint of Mathis, Van Nort & Co.'s 1947 edition. Bright, crisp, tight and clean - with tan wrapper and black print. Rear top corner has light creasing, and other corners have very minor wear. 183 pp. Fun as Elmer's cartoons are, we're grateful that his journalism and fiction career took off and that we were gifted with the powerful and authentic characters that people his novels!.
