This is one of 125 copies printed in Feb. 1964 by Clarke & Way, New York. Reprinted from the author's The Plumes of Dream (1951). In addition to five poems, includes the text of a letter from drama critic John Mason Brown to the author's daughter, Peggy Burden, about her mother, Margaret Ridgely Partridge (1872-1963). With: a calling card of Mr. and Mrs. William A.M. Burden with a note to Giora, accompanying this publication as a gift. William A.M. Burden (1906-1984) served as president of the Museum of Modern art in the 1950s and 1960s. Margaret Livingston Partridge Burden (1909-1996) was the daughter of sculptor William Ordway Patridge and the poet. In Very Good Condition: rust left by paperclip used to hold the calling card at upper edge of first 3 pages and inside of front wrapper, and on calling card; otherwise, clean and crisp.
