Hardcover. Condición: Good. Hardcover, 132 pages. Binding has rounded with age, and book will lie flat when opened to any point, but is still securely bound. Red cloth boards are clean, with straight edges and sharp corners--save for the upper fore edge corner of the back board, which has been lightly bumped. Gold lettering on front board and on spine is crisp and shiny. Boards are protected by a clear mylar sleeve, which has two tears, approximately 2" each, at lower fore edge corner and adjacent to the foot of the spine. Upper edge of sleeve has several small tears and chips, but the book is still well protected. Pages clean, crisp, and lightly toned. No handwritten notes or underlined passages. An annual review of the breeding and performances of racing and hunting horses, this volume is generously illustrated with black and white photographs of each horse, as well as horse trainers, owners, and jockeys.
