CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Harold Noice first went north as a member of Stefansson's Canadian Arctic Expedition in 1915. He traveled with the exploration party during the discovery of new lands in 1916 and 1917. Leaving the party, he remained in the north exploring the north and living with the natives. In 1924 he published this account of the expedition, "With Stefansson in the Arctic." He later became involved in Stefansson's tragic Wrangel Island operation as the commander of the relief expedition in 1923.
