Schnitger commemmorating the 600th anniversary of the installation of the first Majapahit King Gajah Mada, being the start of the Javanese golden Age. The second paper by W.O.J. Nieuwenkamp, with 2 full-page captioned monochrome plates after original drawings, is a critical note to a previous paper by Prof. Van Erp in the same journal, in which Nieuwenkamp defends his opinion that Borobudur is not more or less than Maitreya's giant Lotus-seat. Bothpapers following describe and illustrate the Siam Kingdom and so-called Moko's or bronze kettledrums (inclumplete). Very fine copy.
