Notable American issue of the ultimate volume of collected verses (some in Scottish dialect) by the noted Glaswegian poet (1797-1835); with the 'Preface to the Glasgow Edition' and an introductory memorial poem by editor William Kennedy (dated November, 1847; Kennedy not specifically identified as the editor of this issue, though the 'Preface' would seem to indicate that). Includes 4-page publisher's catalogue ('New Books and New Editions', dated July, 1851) at front. Nice, tight copy internally.
