Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. Illustrated with over two hundred plates, most in black & white, three frontispieces and a few additional plates in color. Errata sheet laid in. ix, 264 pages. 4to. Brown leather spine over grey cloth. Top edge gilt. The spine is lightly rubbed, with a few small chips at both ends. No dust jacket, but in a sturdy slipcase.

Extensively illustrated, 3 color frontispieces and 218 color and black and whtie plates. The spine is worn and the hinges are cracked; they have been repaired with a clear adhesive so that the binding secure. Front free endpaper has a corner clipped off of it.
