Dustin #40 and #235. Dowd $114 and $2911. O'Keefe #255. Very Good- with corner pieces missing on front and back cover; otherwise Very Good. When this first edition of Roe's book appeared early in 1927, Libbie Custer compained vigorously to editor and publisher Robert Bruce about the content. In the second edition, later in 1927, General Roe's photograph was replaced on the front wrap with a photograph of General Custer, and a quote by Captain Benteen in General Roe's article was removed. A highly collectible Custeriana item.
