Book commences with the popular Italian tale "Fagiolino" by Elisa Amati, translated by Alan C. Dunn. Containing 26 clipped illustration pasted to leaves, and hand-colored pen and ink drawings, depicting characters from the story. After which, book includes typed poems by William Blake, William Shakespeare, Walter de la Mare, Carl Sandburg; and other original works by the poet are clipped and pasted-in. An original, hand-drawn paper doll with original hats and clothes are secured by decorative pockets. A charming "book of favorites" and a sophisticated compilation; sketches and poems collaged into this album offer a fascinating glimpse into the mind of a young artist and poet.

From the Parisian fashion house Detrois et Cie. Women's garments, shown from the front and back, and professionally presented -- drawings are polished, and nicely detailed and colored. Scuffing along spine and edges of boards; binding a bit shaken.
