Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good (Record Sleeve). 33 1/3 RPM. Record jacket has some wear, soiling, and some edge tears. This is a single record, with content on each side. One side is Slugger at the Bat with Jackie Robinson and Pee Wee Reese and Carl Frank as the Narrator. Slugger at the Bat is a baseball story and a description of a Dodgers game plays an extremely important role in this tale. In 1949, Brooklyn Dodgers greats Jackie Robinson, and Pee Wee Reese joined narrator Carl Frank and a supporting cast to record a story that emphasizes sacrificing personal glory for the greater good of a baseball team. The main part of the story has to do with a kids' sandlot team which Jackie and Pee Wee come across while out walking one day and to which .the seasoned major league players give the sound advice that helps the youngsters' team win a big game. On the other side is Stampede, story by Henry Walsh and Peter Steele with music by Abraham Ellstein. This was with Gene Autry and Supporting Cast with orchestra conducted by Carl Cottner. Here is an exciting story of the West performance by the world's greatest singing cowboy, Gene Autry, with a fine supporting cast. The story includes some stirring gun-play, a wild stampede of cattle, and some unforgettable some sung by Gene Autry as only he can sing them. 33 1/3 Record Columbia Long Playing (LP) Microgroove Presumed First Edition, First pressing thus.
