Soft cover. Condición: . ~ [TEMPORARY REDUCTION SALE: 20-30% OFF THE REGULAR PRICE] ~ Ilustrador. 1st Edition. Octavo. Pp. 328. Plus 10 folding maps, plans, and semitransparent overlays. With 35 text figures. Original printed wrappers, old military institutional stamp to title. In a very good condition, crisp maps. ~ FIRST EDITION. Extremely rare. Lütgendorf's ambitious work was published privately a year after his "Taktik-Behelf für Stabsofficiers-Aspiranten" was published in Vienna. The book was commissioned from the Lemberg publishing firm of Seidel and the fine cartographic material was printed at the lithographers firm of Piller. Lütgendorf has identified himself only as "L.", by means of pseudonym, and was responsible for the distribution of the work, as well as for all revenues or losses. The book, apparently printed in a very small edition to be sold directly to military academies, is now most uncommon. Practically not a single institutional copy beside that at the National War Museum of the Netherlands can be located. TIMO-4 IN.
