Hardcover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. The Dust Jacket Shows Signs Of Minor Shelf Wear And Has Some Slight Markings To It. There Is A Small Tear To The Left And Corner Of The Back Of The Dust Jacket. The Front Board Of The Book Is Slightly Faded At The Very Bottom But Would Still Make An Appealing Edition To Any Bookshelf. The Front End Page Is Slightly Tanned And Has A Note From William Reid - Lord Provost Of Aberdeen. Binding Is Tight And Pages Are Clean And Bright Throughout.

Six Volume Set : lix + 428 pages incl. index 1942 ; xxxiv + 412 pages incl. index/glossary 1950 ; xxiii + 362 pages incl.index/glossary 1952 ; xxxiv + 474 pages incl. index/glossary 1954 ; xxiv + 515 pages incl.index/glossary 1957 ; xxvi + 376 pages incl. index/glossary. All dustjackets have very slight wear with tiny creases/slighty rubs to spine-ends & corners, minimally so to edges, all have very slight/just perceptable colour change to spine toward a very slight beige. All books are unmarked and unlabellel by past owners and very clean/very nice condition. DJ to Volume I is of a slightly bluer hue than others, being 20 years earier in publication than last volume. All volumes have very slight wear to spine-ends & boards' corners due to very light use. 5 of the 6 volumes have blue top page-edges which colour has faded lightly towards the hinge, volume 5 has plain white page edges to top. Volume 2 is minimally lighter to spine & has slight browning to end-papers. Volume 3 has minimal browning to end-papers and very minimal signs fo foxing. Volume 4 has one tiny bump to bottom front hinge. Volume 5 has very small bump to top rear corner. Volume 6 has slight brown smudge to page-edges. All bindings are tight and in very nice condition.
