Hard Cover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. The Author Ilustrador. A selection of poetry about the sea and sailing, by various authors. Beautifully illustrated by drawings in grisaille colours, of the sea, sailing vessels, etc. Approximately 40 to 50 pages of stiff paper. The board covers measure 14&1/2 by 7&1/2 inches and are covered with paper (stuck down). The front cover has the title written elaborately in the form of a rope making the letters, with an illustration of a sailing ship. The back cover is an illustration of a seascape framed by seaweed. The inside pages are in good condition and are clean. The binding is strong with a brown taped binding for the spine. The paper-covered boards are very age/handling darkened and marked. The board edges are roughened with some slight tearing to the paper edges. There are also some slight damp stains close to the cover edges. Apart from the cover condition this is a beautiful and rather touching book, obviously created by someone with a great love of the sea. It should continue to be cherished.
