Dark blue cloth w blindstamp border and gold lettering to cover and gold lettering to spine. Moderate shelf wear. Bumping and light wear to corners. Surface scuff to joints. Front hinge cracking. Binding a little shaken but remains sound. Octavo: 247 x 170mm.

He served as the 14th Premier of Ontario from 1943 to 1948. He joined the 16th Field Battery in 1909 at the age of 15. He rushed to join the Canadian Expeditionary Force at the outbreak of war in 1914.
