Errata page tipped in at end. Work of Travel in Egypt, written by renowned German Medical Doctor and Zoologist Carl Benjamin Klunzinger (1834-1914) who lived for a period of 9 years in the Ancient Egyptian city of Al-Qusair (believed to be 5,000 years old) on the Red Sea, where he worked as a doctor. Delightfully illustrated with b/w full-page and in-text sketches and drawings. Minor age wear to binding, especially at edges and spine. Closed tear alongside spine at bottom. Interior is clean and tight. An exceptional work in remarkable shape.
