Softcover. Condición: near fine. Jasper Johns Ilustrador. Johns has said that he likes working with ink on plastic because of the independence of the material, "that it is difficult to tell from the finished drawing what gestures were used to produce it." Because the plastic lacks absorbency and the ink takes a long time to dry, the resulting drawing is not only a creation by the artist s hand, but a manifestation of the nature of the materials themselves. Exhibition Catalog with focus on Johns drawings in these media. The show held between April 9 - May 28, 2010, featured fourteen works spanning five decades of Johns career. In near fine condition with rubber stamp of Jamestown Center organization. 7" - 9". book.
