Printed Cardstock. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. This lamentable publication represents another unhappy stage in Russian anti-Semitism. A by-product of the 6-Day War [1967], during which the Israelis repelled the Soviet trained and equipped armies of Soviet client states in the Middle East, it is an effort to blame Soviet mishaps and misadventures on a conspiracy of international Jewish capitalists. Ivanov, the author, was a professional "Zionologist" -- "Zionology" was a spurious historical discipline sanctioned by the Communist Party -- who used writings of Jewish leaders and historians to make his case. Representative sources include Brandeis, Brentano, Lilienthal, Roth, Sokolow, and Stein, as well as the Israeli press, employed in contrived contexts. Though the CP has gone, the author's selective documentation and specious reasoning is still a feature of right-wing Slavic websites. 174 pages + one unnumbered page Oglavlenie. Two covers bound as one, the top one (very good) a xerox cardstock image of the two-color cardstock original [good] below it; text is strong and clean, but coloring to margins.
