Condición: very good. 1st Edition. 90pp. Small Quarto in original maroon cloth with white regiment insignia on front partially flaked off and illustrations in text from photos and drawings. Minor wear to extremities with bumped lower corner and missing part of top corner of front free endpaper. very good Captain Hunter describes in detail all the 19th century exploits of the loyalist militia. The Yorks were raised from York county (arch. Toronto) for the War of 1812, and later saw action during the MacKenzie rebellion and the uprisings led by Riel.
