Historiker Georg Wilhelm Zapf (1747-1810) war 1765-70 Schreiber in Aalen, wurde 1770 freiherrlich von Woellwarthscher Amtmann in Neubronn und stand 1771-73 als Sekretär im Dienst des Grafen Emanuel Ludwig von Leonrod. 1773-86 war Zapf Notar in Augsburg und ließ sich dann auf seinem Gut Biburg bei Augsburg nieder. 1784 wurde er von Fürst Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst zum Hofrat, 1786 von Kurfürst Friedrich Karl Joseph von Mainz zum kurmainzischen Geheimrat und von Fürst Johann zu Schwarzenberg zum kaiserlichen Hofpfalzgrafen ernannt. - Einband etw. berieben u. bestoßen.
