The title page has a rubber stamp oval shape with "Somilitaere Korps." inside.Top of spine on the oustside leather is starting to tear at joint. Scuffing and scarring to covers make it look ancient- not bad. This is a textbook on navigation and has many diagrams, charts and mathematical equations. There is a four-panel fold-out map of the world showing navigation delineations printed in dull green. there is also a fold-out map of Norge and Danmark with navigational symbols. Plate four is a 2-panel fold out stjerne (star) kart showing both hemispheres. Interesting. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
