Pamphlet. Condición: Good. First Edition, First Printing. 32p. A pamphlet, complete in itself, that has been removed from a bound volume of other unrelated pamphlets. Good condition; pages lightly soiled all over and a few spotty stains on back (text remains legible). Corners bent as well. Otherwise, text unmarked. Barent Gardinier (also spelled Gardenier, 1776-1822) was a U.S. congressman from New York. He engaged in a duel against fellow congressman and political adversary George W. Campbell of Tennessee, who is mentioned in the title of this pamphlet, over the issue of the Embargo Act of 1807.
