In overall good condition, with superficial wear to boards. Hinges are in good condition and text block is securely attached. Marginalia on front pastedown and first and last fly leaf pages. Slight toning and foxing generally reserved to the first and last pages. Filled with numerous black-and-white photographs of the Brandywine River s course. Please see photos and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Frank R. Zebley (1883-1960) served as the Speaker of the Delaware House of Representatives in 1939. This scarce volume covers the the geography and history of the Brandywine River, which flows from Chester County, Pennsylvania to Wilmington, Delaware.
