Hardcover. Condición: Very Good. No Jacket. Parrish, Maxfield Ilustrador. First Thus. One of a lovely series of classic books for young readers illustrated by famous artists of the day, each with a colorful paper pastedown to the front board. These have recently been reissued, making these original editions more highly collectible, particularly when they contain color plates, like this one, which is illustrated by one of the leading artists of the Art Nouveau movement, Maxfield Parrish. Hardcover book has black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering to spine (completely faded) & colorful front pastedown. Condition is conservatively VG: very clean, binding straight & strong, pages off-white with a shadow of age-appropriate tanning around edges, else unmarked.
