Endpapers browned with Prize Inscription on front free endpaper. Red covers with black/ white pictorial decoration on front & on the rear a device containing the initials W & R . Victorian children's story. Hard to find.

Cloth. Condición: Good. No Jacket. This very scarce children's book has been bound in a medium blue cloth with black lettering on the spine and the front board. The author's name is on the front board in red and also a line illustration on the lower half of the front board. There is some corner bumping and spine edge bending. Also a dark spot on teh upper right corner of the front board. The back board has a center design of a triskel pattern in black, some spotting especially in the upper left corner of the back board. A Sunday School library label has been affixed to the front end paper. That is the only library marking present. The end papers have yellowed with age and there is early signs of foxing. The text is free of any markings but has yellowed and some foxing. The binding is very solid and complete. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-Library.
