This work was written by Walter Emanuel and illustrated by the prolific British artist and illustrator Cecil Aldin, who was widely renowned for his paintings and sketches of animals, sports, and rural life. Contains 36 printed pages of text with 19, plus the title page vignette, splendid full-page colour illustrations throughout. Staples starting to weep to the lower end paper, ink ownership name to the verso of the front free end paper, a little loss of the paper covering the spine ends and inner gutters, corners rubbed and in Good condition.
