Cracking to hinges and gutters, leaving netting exposed. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Visible tanning to spine and edges. Large tears to spine and edges. Significant splits to spine. Notable scuffing to boards. Binding is somewhat shaky, but pages remain intact.

Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding, causing boards to be slightly loose. Light staining to text-block edges. Binding is slightly shaky. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Light scuffing to surfaces.

Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.
