Soft cover. Condición: Good. Estado de la sobrecubierta: Good. 1st Edition. About the book: Softcover. First Edition, First Printing. Signed by both Louis Dudek and Irving Layton on first blank page. Previous owner's name inside front cover. Cover is in good condition. Rough around the edges with creasing and tears. Last blank page has pulled away from staples, but hasn't separated from rest of book. Due to flaws in its design book is often found with the cover having completely separated from book. Slight water damage to some of the Raymond Souster pages. Book wasn't well produced, however it is rare, as well as an important part of modern Canadian poetry. Additional photos available upon request. We're not satisfied unless you are. Signed by Author(s).

Wraps. Condición: Very Good. First Edition. The title alludes to the mythical three-headed dog, Cerberus, guardian of the Greek underworld. In this, the first Contact Press book, the authors announce themselves as the guardians of the new poetry in Canada. Brown card covers lightly worn with some edgewear and light chipping at base of spine and along edges. First and last pages have separated from the staples that bind the book, but are still attached because they are glued to the covers -- a common flaw of this particular book. Overall, an attractive copy of this important Canadian book. Scarce. Book.

Soft cover. Condición: Very Good. 1st Edition. This copy has been signed on the title page by the all poets. What makes this one so special is that the book - an octavo in paper wraps - is encased in a beautiful, custom-made, clamshell box. The box is designed to resemble a book whose covers have been bound in dark blue, half-leather with marbled boards and gilt lettering and a red spine label and raised bands on the spine. The box portion is covered with black cloth and the interior is lined in white. Condition: except for a tiny scuff to the uppermost raised band on the spine, the box is in very fine condition; the book has some nicking, chipping & minor creasing to its covers with minor chipping to the spine ends & rubbing to the outer hinges. Otherwise the book is in very good condition in a fine clamshell box. 98 pages. Signed by Author(s).
