Paperback. Condición: Very Good. Hawaii Botanical Science Paper 2, June 1966. Library tape on spine area to reinforce the binding. Some of the tape is torn at spine edges. Binding is tight. Previous owner name stamped on bottom page edges and front cover. Previous owner was Daniel B. Luten (1908-2003), lecturer in geography at University of California, Berkeley from 1962 to 1974. Luten sustained the links between the Berkeley campus and the West Coast environmental movement that date back more than a century, to when Joseph LeConte was instrumental in the startup of both the University of California and the Sierra Club. When he served on the Club's Board of Directors, Luten argued that conservationists, until then primarily concerned with wildland preservation, needed also to grapple with population issues. No other markings in book. 507pp.
